How to-TOK essay in 10 minutes
*Overview*
Make sure you have more than a week before the submission of the first draft , this will help you eliminate any mistakes and prevent any rushed/incomplete ideas from cluttering your essay which may cause you to go on tangents.

SELECT A TITLE FROM THE LIST PROVIDED BY THE IB.
Every year IB will provide students with 6 knowledge issues a few months prior to the submission date.
It is essential that you get your hand on the six knowledge issue and choose on one that inspires you the most.
This title should not only be inspiring to you but also realistic for you to do
READ THE INSTRUCTIONS AND THE MARKING CRITERIA.
Treat the instructions provided by the TOK teacher and the marking criteria as your BIBLE.
Reviewing the marking criteria can earn you the extra points that you may have lost due to residual confusions/logical concerns
GATHER YOUR IDEAS
I’d recommend that you’d note down your ideas , so they don't clutter and entangle with different ideas.
Make a mind-web of ideas and primary connections that may to be relevant when placed together.
ORGANISE YOUR IDEAS IN PREPARATION FOR WRITING
Now that you’ve decided on your knowledge issue and have an underlying basis of the essay you can have to come up with the knowledge question that is specific to your real life situation/theory that you think are appropriate.
With these elements decided you can now write down an outline for the essay.
WRITE THE ESSAY
Your introduction should be captivating in order to get the examiner interested in your essay
The introduction paragraph would consist of you knowledge issue and hence your knowledge question , which include a subtle overview of your WOK’s and AOK’s you plan to use in your essay
The body of your essay should deeply dwell into the exploration of the knowledge issue and the AOK’s /WOK’s which now allow you to come up with your mini-conclusion. make sure you have individual paragraphs assigned for each of your mini-contusion.
The word-limit for the essay is 1400-1600 words, do not hesitate to add in appropriate information but also refrain from going onto tangents
Once done with presenting the perspectives, move on to to the conclusion, this should be short and simple yet informative.
*Tips to review, before submission*
Ensure that the copy you turn in is printed well or typed on fresh paper with no spelling or grammatical errors
Finalise your revision. The last revision should be made, once again, using the topic, the grading criteria, and the Ways of Knowing as your benchmarks.
Each paragraph should address the topic material and never drift from it.
Have someone else whose reading and intelligence you trust read the essay and discuss it with you.
Make sure you have added citations of the appropriate format.
