In this video we'll introduce you to some aspects of the Toulmin Method, named after the British Philosopher Stephen Toulmin. The idea is that a typical argument has three parts: claim, evidence, and warrant.
The claim is a statement that requires proof. The evidence is the reasons for the claim. Finally, the warrant is the implicit logic that ties together the claim and the evidence.
